Dr. Bob Brown
After much prayer and research, the Deacons have recommended Dr. Bob Brown to serve as our interim pastor until a Senior Pastor is selected by the church. Bob’s parents were members at Wallace and volunteered to help start Cumberland Baptist Church back in the early ‘60s. Bob grew up at Cumberland and later served as interim pastor there in 2015. While there, Bob was instrumental in leading Cumberland to consider Church Revitalization and ultimately asking Wallace to partner with them to do a Church Re-Plant at Cumberland.
Bob will became interim pastor on Sunday, November 6, 2016. Pray for our church family to remain focused on the Kingdom and to continue His work to reach our community with the Love of Christ.
Great days are ahead!!

Jeff is originally from Knoxville where he and his wife, Laura grew up. He attended the University of Tennessee where he studied Psychology and History. From there Jeff went to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, where he received his Master of Divinity in 2002. Before being called into Children's Ministry and coming to Wallace in 2008 he served as a Student Pastor in Johnson City, TN. In June of 1999, Jeff married his college sweetheart, Laura. Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being a stay at home mom. They have three children that they love to spend time with. Jeff is passionate about a lot of things, Tennessee sports, food, and just having fun. But the one thing that truly consumes him is ministry, especially when it comes to Children & Families. He believes that the family has the biggest influence on how their own kids will follow Christ. The church must partner with families to equip and raise up this generation of kids in the ways of the Lord. Jeff wants to see whole families become Followers of Christ, sold-out and surrendered to living a life for Jesus.
